Panos Earth - Panoramas of the World
This is the Sister Site to JAEarth and Oils Earth where, at this site, similar travel photos are converted to "Moving Panoramas".
The digital camera [with or without external software] now allows the making [stitching] of Panoramas, which formerly were the province of Professional Photo Labs.
Computers and the Web then allow them to be displayed, but the wider they are, the more cumbersome it becomes to view them as a whole.
We are therefore providing a Portal for viewing "MOVING Travel Panoramas" [a bit like UTube on Steroids], from various Countries of the World
Ideally 360 deg panos provide the best viewing experience, but the engine we use above joins both ends of the photo, even if only covering 180 deg.
All you need to do is send the address of your Panorama to us to include under a Country tag [or make a new one], so please go to the Email Form if you have a pano you want to display.
To view a pano simply click on any entry with "[above]", and it will do its thing above
To view a pano AND a location movie, simply click on any entry with "[w/Google]", and it will open in a separate window with both the pano and the movie.
So yes Virginia, you CAN view wonderous panos without needing to be a Rocket Scientist.
indicates a full 360 pano where you can't see the seam [or almost]. It is not a competition folks, just a matter of interest.
